London Championship Show

Entries must arrive by 10pm Tuesday 8 September. Email or postal entries preferred.

The London Championship is a major show with thousands of animals including rabbits, cavies, mice, rats , hamsters and gerbils. Various Trade stands. There is an admission charge for entry to the show. Note that although the show is on the Saturday. The Society will be present on Sunday displaying animals and talking about gerbils. Volunteers to help out will be very welcome.

Entries £1.00 per gerbil block entry paid on the day for those eligible for standard classes, 25p for others.

This year the Centre will be charging £5 for parking, but half of that will be refunded by the centre reception desk on presentation of your ticket stub. Unfortunately parking charges are outside the control of the organisers of the show who have done everything they can to negotiate a greater concession.

Directions - BY CAR From M4 Junction 11 - Reading Central - M4 Take the A33 and follow the signs to Reading Straight over the first roundabout towards "Reading" past Reading FC two more roundabouts to go straight over still headed towards Reading Station/Rivermead Leisure Centre two sets of traffic lights to go past (second set by station). At the next roundabout take 1st exit towards Rivermead Leisure Centre Pedestrian lights about 20 yards from roundabout then take a left at the roundabout towards the leisure centre BP is on the left - 100 yards on is a roundabout - on the right is the leisure centre opposite Kwik-Fit alternatively know as Red Gate at the Reading Festival.

RAIL 30 minutes by train from Paddington. Main station is less than 15 mins walk from the main site, follow car directions from station.
